Explore | Sunny Afternoon Tea

A few weeks ago, friends and family came to visit my parents at their new(ish!) beachside home. So what better way than to celebrate with afternoon tea?

We made a lot of items from our menu from scratch but also sourced some treats from local bakeries!

Homemade treats like (freshly-picked) Blackberry Tortes, Potted Shrimp, Strawberry Lemon Curd Toasts, Smoked Salmon Toasts, and Caprese Salad were served with locally bought treats like Coombs Country Market‘s Raspberry Meringues and Oh Happy Cake‘s Coconut Squares, Amarettinis, Linzer Bars, and Biscotti!

Of course, we can’t have a tea party without tea!DSC_3519 DSC_3518

We had three varieties on hand – Jasmine Dragon Pearls, Genmaicha aka Popcorn Tea (with real popcorn!), and Organic Pu’erh Ginger Tea.

DSC_3521We also had wine on hand, of course.DSC_3536 DSC_3538 DSC_3543 DSC_3551 DSC_3556 DSC_3559 DSC_3569 DSC_3568

It was a lovely afternoon spent with good friends and family!
